The game felt like a formality with no real doubt over which way it was going to go. <\/p>\n<p>Wolves managed to keep a clean sheet in the first half \u2014 an achievement in its own right \u2014 but were run over in the second half, similar to the first half of their meeting in the Carabao Cup. <\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the night, as sad as it is, was probably <a href=\"https:\/\/www.molineux.news\/tag\/pedro-neto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pedro Neto<\/a> getting a goal against his former club, and taking no liberties with the celebration. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GettyImages-2183563847-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Pedro Neto playing for Chelsea\" class=\"wp-image-66987\" \/>Photo by Jacques Feeney\/Offside\/Offside via Getty ImagesWolves fans not happy with Pedro Neto after Chelsea goal<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.molineux.news\/news\/enzo-maresca-issues-an-injury-update-on-pedro-neto-ahead-of-wolves-clash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neto was actually a doubt to face Wolves<\/a>, but he made it onto the team sheet to go up against his old side.<\/p>\n<p>When Alejandro Garnacho darted down the wing on the counter, he found Neto with ease to help the ball home from a couple of yards out. <\/p>\n<p>Nothing special about the goal, but the former Wolves star celebrated nonetheless, and fans weren\u2019t too pleased. <\/p>\n<p>One fan says: \u201cSurprised with his celebration, I thought he would have held back a bit but he went proper OTT with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another fan agrees, remarking: \u201cPedro Neto is a weasel for that celebration by the way.\u201d <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-dnt=\"true\" data-conversation=\"https:\/\/www.molineux.news\/match\/wolves-fans-have-their-say-on-pedro-neto-celebrating-his-chelsea-goal\/none\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Right so we&#8217;ve got the obligatory former player goal<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 lilya 4-ever&#8217;s strongest soldier (@geraldknobinson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/geraldknobinson\/status\/1987272763212443920?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">November 8, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>View Tweet<\/p>\n<p>But honestly, the anger at Neto was mostly just emotion. And not a happy one.
