Twisted Sister<\/a> have lined up their first UK show in a decade in 2026.<\/p>\n

The metal veterans retired from touring in 2016<\/a>, but recently announced that they\u2019re returning for a 50th anniversary world tour next year<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, they have confirmed they will headline the Steelhouse Festival over the weekend of July 24-26 in 2026 at Hafod-y-Dafal Farm, Aberbeeg, Ebbw Vale.<\/p>\n

Other acts on the bill include Reef<\/a>, The Temperance Movement, Alien Ant Farm<\/a>, Tyketto, and the Von Hertzen Brothers. You can purchase tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thought 15 years was worth celebrating in the biggest possible way\u201d, Steelhouse promoters Max and Mikey said (via Louder<\/a>). \u201cAnd what better way to do that with one of the most iconic names in metal \u2013 Twisted fucking Sister! To have them come and celebrate their milestone 50 years with us is an absolute and unbelievable honour.\u201d<\/p>\n

They added: \u201cWhen Dee Snider came and laid waste to Steelhouse a decade ago \u2013 and more than any other headliner, fundamentally got what we were trying to do as an independent rock festival \u2013 we hoped that perhaps he would one day return with the band he made his name with\u2026 In our 15th year and their 50th, this is coming to pass\u2026 Twisted Sister on The Mountain is going to be huge!<\/p>\n

The show will be the band\u2019s first in the UK since they performed at Bloodstock in 2016.<\/p>\n

Announcing their 50th anniversary tour earlier this year, frontman Dee Snider said in a statement: \u201cIf you\u2019re lucky enough to be in a band that people still want to see after fifty years(!), how can you not answer the call? In 2026, Twisted Fucking Sister will hit stages around the world because WE STILL WANNA ROCK!!\u201d<\/p>\n

They previously confirmed that longtime bassist Mark Mendoza won\u2019t be joining them for the upcoming shows. In his place will be Russell Pz\u00fctto, who has played with the band in the past.<\/p>\n

Besides Snider and Pz\u00fctto, the rest of Twisted Sister will be completed by\u00a0founding guitarist and longest-serving member Jay Jay French, longtime lead guitarist Eddie Ojeda and drummer Joe Franco.<\/p>\n

Franco has performed with the band in the past, and will be filling for late drummer A.J. Pero, who died towards the end of their farewell run in 2016<\/a>. Franco played with the band briefly in the mid-\u201980s, and featured on their 1987 album \u2018Love Is For Suckers\u2019.<\/p>\n

Since retiring from touring, Twisted Sister have remained largely inactive, only reuniting once to perform for their Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame induction in 2023 \u2013 for that performance, Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy filled in for the late Pero.<\/p>\n
