More assets are being sold by ‘cash-strapped’ Birmingham City Council at auction next month.<\/p>\n

The five sites in Nechells<\/a>, Sparkhill <\/a>and Newtown<\/a> are for ground rents only. They include retail units, office buildings, warehouse and a yard.<\/p>\n

They will form more than 100 lots at Bond Wolfe’s auction on Wednesday, December 10.<\/p>\n

The auctioneers generated \u00a321m at a previous auction last month.<\/p>\n

It included the former 4th Darlaston Scout Hut on Victoria Road in Darlaston<\/a>, thought to have been built before the First World War.<\/p>\n

It had a guide price of \u00a325,000-plus but was sold on behalf of Walsall<\/a> Council for \u00a3157,000 during the Bond Wolfe auction last week.<\/p>\n

Woodland at Parish Poles on Widney Lane in Solihull<\/a>, which had a guide price of just \u00a35,000-plus, was sold for \u00a3118,000.<\/p>\n
