Rumours are swirling that a major American rock band may be coming to Liverpool after a leading concert promoter appeared to tease an upcoming appearance at Anfield<\/a> Stadium.<\/p>\n GigsandTours, the X account representing leading UK promotor S.J.M. Concerts, took to the social media platform today, November 9, with a picture of the letters “FF” emblazoned on the seats of Anfield. The post prompted much speculation, as fans believed the post hinted at an upcoming Foo Fighters show.<\/p>\n The Foo Fighters, founded in 1994 by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, have not yet officially announced any performances in the UK for 2026, though a tour is expected. The Washington-based alternative rock band last appeared in the UK in 2024 for their All Or Nothing tour, which featured shows in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Cardiff and Birmingham.<\/p>\n Responding to the post on X (formerly Twitter<\/a>), the Foo Fighters Archive fan page responded: “Waiting for the first \u201cFoo\u2019ll Never Walk Alone\u201d headline”.
