There is a chance of sunny spells in the southeast with temperatures dropping to a low of 5C.<\/p>\n
A Met Office forecaster said: \u201cThe winds will generally be light and temperatures through the day generally near sort of average, maybe a bit cooler than it has been today.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo Sunday highs are around about 13 Celsius, whilst tomorrow highs are around about 11C. So they’re just coming down a little bit compared to what we’ve seen over the weekend, but average for the time of year.\u201d<\/p>\n
The evening will be mostly dry with showery conditions starting to form overnight.<\/p>\n
By Tuesday morning, most of Northern Ireland will see rain with some heavier showers in places potentially causing disruptions.<\/p>\n
Ireland\u2019s Met Eireann service issued a weather warning for Co Cork, Kerry and Waterford from Monday night until Tuesday midday, as well as placing a marine yellow weather warning for the surrounding shores of the island.<\/p>\n
\u201cThroughout the whole day there’ll be rain, which could be heavy at times,\u201d the forecaster continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt could lead to some local disruption through the day. It will be fairly breezy as well, particularly around the coasts with temperatures reaching around 11, maybe 12 Celsius around some eastern coasts.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are currently no warnings out throughout the week, but that could well change as we get nearer the time. And then sort of that system will start to clear through Tuesday evening and become a drier night with some clear spells and some mist and fog patches.\u201d<\/p>\n
Temperatures are expected to fall to a maximum of 9C on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Wednesday will begin with a bright start with rain and cloud being pushed up from England as the day progresses. Rainfall is expected to hit the southern counties of Northern Ireland by the afternoon.<\/p>\n
Temperatures will top out at 12C with mercury hitting a low of 8C.<\/p>\n
The Met Office spokesman said Thursday and Friday expected see similarly unsettled conditions.<\/p>\n
Both days will experience a range of temperatures between 11C and 7C.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt potentially just stays cloudy through into Thursday with further outbreaks of rain, which looks then also the picture for Friday as well,\u201d the spokesman continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will stay cloudy with risk of some outbreaks of rain through the day and potentially becoming windier on Friday as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo throughout the whole week or the rest of the week, temperature wise, daytime temperatures from around Wednesday will be around about 11C and maybe a little bit cooler by Thursday and Friday, around about 9 or 10C. So there’s a slight cooling trend or colder trend towards the end of the working week, but it stays cloudy with outbreaks of rain throughout.\u201d<\/p>\n
