Manchester United have entered the final international break of the year with mixed emotions following their 2-2 draw against Tottenham<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n Matthijs de Ligt scored a last-minute leveller to secure a point for United, who seemed poised to exact some revenge for their Europa League<\/a> final defeat when Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring in the 32nd minute.<\/p>\n Shortly after Mathys Tel equalised for the hosts, substitute Benjamin Sesko was forced to come off<\/a> due to an injury, leaving United down to 10 men for the final moments of the match. Ruben Amorim was staring at his first defeat since September when Richarlison found the back of the net in the 91st minute.<\/p>\n However, De Ligt’s header from Bruno Fernandes’ corner in the dying seconds ensured United extended their unbeaten run to five matches, although Amorim was left wanting more.<\/p>\n Amorim will be feeling much more optimistic than during the last international break, when his future was under scrutiny. Nonetheless, the Portuguese coach will be pondering over what could have been following consecutive 2-2 draws at Nottingham Forest and Spurs. Here’s a round-up of some of the latest news from Old Trafford<\/a>…<\/p>\n Hojlund future clear<\/p>\n United can rule out the possibility of recalling Hojlund from his loan spell.<\/a> The concerning knee injury sustained by Sesko could potentially leave United short of options up front as they head into the winter months.<\/p>\n Amorim may be forced to delve back into the transfer market for a striker when the January window opens, as a return for Hojlund, who is currently on loan at Napoli, seems unlikely.<\/p>\n Napoli may have the option to secure Hojlund permanently for \u00a338million next summer, it is understood. Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano claims that the temporary deal features an option which could become an obligation.<\/p>\n The reigning Serie A champions are currently second in the table, behind leaders AC Milan on goal difference only. As a result, United have no recall clause available should they attempt to bring him back to Old Trafford in January.<\/p>\n United hold loan star talks<\/p>\n Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen has been full of praise for United’s young star Harry Amass, expressing his desire to extend the defender’s loan spell at Hillsborough.<\/p>\n The left wing-back has made a significant impact since joining crisis-hit Wednesday side in the summer.
