The Kremlin stated on Monday that it seeks an end to the war in Ukraine as soon as possible, but efforts to resolve the crisis have stalled.<\/p>\n
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made the remarks in response to a statement by U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday, who said, \u201cI believe we agree that the war will end in the not-too-distant future,\u201d during a meeting with the Hungarian Prime Minister.\u0627\u0636\u0627\u0641\u0629 \u0627\u0639\u0644\u0627\u0646<\/p>\n
Peskov reiterated that the Kremlin\u2019s position is that the war can end once Russia achieves its objectives, preferably through political and diplomatic means. He added, \u201cBut currently, the situation is at a standstill. This is not due to us,\u201d placing responsibility on Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Ukraine and its European allies reject Moscow\u2019s accusations of obstructing peace efforts, and no direct talks between Russia and Ukraine have taken place since July 23.
