Police are hunting for an assailant after he ‘attacked a woman on the street’ in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

The victim, in her 30s, was kicked in the back by an unknown person while walking along Stratford Road, Springfield.<\/p>\n

It happened between 7.30pm and 7.35pm on Thursday, November 6.<\/p>\n

No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man officers want to trace.<\/p>\n

In a statement, police said: “We\u2019re appealing for witnesses and help identifying a man after a woman was assaulted in Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We were made aware of reports that a woman had been kicked in the back by an unknown person while walking along Stratford Road, Springfield, on Thursday 6 November between 7.30pm and 7.35pm.<\/p>\n

“The victim in her 30s, was thankfully not seriously injured.<\/p>\n

“Following CCTV enquiries, we are now able to release an image of a man we would like to speak to as we believe he could have information that could help with our investigation.<\/p>\n

“Anyone with any information, who witnessed the incident, or who has any CCTV footage is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident number 5265 of 6 November, or contact Crimestoppers to remain anonymous on 0800 555 111.”<\/p>\n
