Police have locked down a Leith supermarket\u00a0car\u00a0park\u00a0following reports of an assault.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the\u00a0Tesco supermarket in\u00a0Duke Street\u00a0shortly after 10am\u00a0this morning\u00a0Tuesday 11 November 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Numerous police vehicles\u00a0and ambulances were seen in the vicinity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It is now understood that one patient was transported to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: \u201cWe received a call at 10.13 to attend an incident on Duke Street, Edinburgh. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and one patient was transported to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police Scotland has been approached for comment.<\/p>\n
