The restaurant, which has been going since 1982, posted of the visit: \u201cMassively shocked to see @erling come through for a triple roast meat! Couldn\u2019t believe my eyes when he walked in lol. Thanks for coming in pal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">In another post, the restaurant added: &#8220;Okay, we\u2019re still buzzing that Erling Haaland came through for a triple roasted meat! As big City fans ourselves, our jaws just dropped the moment he walked in. We\u2019re thankful he stopped by for a cheeky roast duck and crispy pork belly!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Join our Manchester Food and Drink WhatsApp group <\/strong><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/chat.whatsapp.com\/G0NgkbF3lAgA3Y01SeXq6t\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Following the footballer\u2019s appreciation for his meal, the restaurant also said it had considered changing its menu as a result &#8211; paying homage to his order.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Their Triple Roast Meats &#8211; consisting of roasted duck, roasted pork belly, and roasted char Siu &#8211; will keep its name, but customers who order the Haaland Special will get the exact same order.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">The restaurant posted online: \u201cThe Haaland Special! We\u2019re just kidding! So, as funny as it sounds, if you ask for \u201cThe Haaland Special,\u201d you\u2019ll get exactly what he ordered \u2014 lol.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">\u201cOur staff are loving the banter, so come on through! We roast over 60 ducks a day, all freshly marinated the day before and roasted on the same day they\u2019re served. It\u2019s the same method we\u2019ve used for over 40 years, and it\u2019s all served with our in-house sweet soy sauce, made entirely from natural herbs, spices, and sweeteners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">The post was enough to entice people into wanting to visit the restaurant themselves soon. One person wrote: &#8220;I need to visit!! Food looks ace.&#8221; Another commented: &#8220;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">Others have said they will be ordering the Haaland special &#8211; and asking for it by name &#8211; when they next visit. Popular sandwich spot Ad Maiora, in the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/northern-quarter\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Northern Quarter<\/a>, is loved by the player and has a sandwich named after him inspired by some of his favourite things.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"men\">The Haarland sandwich features Parma ham, burrata, pesto, truffle oil, sun-dried tomatoes, pistachios and rocket.
