{"id":5646,"date":"2025-04-09T10:47:10","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T10:47:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/5646\/"},"modified":"2025-04-09T10:47:10","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T10:47:10","slug":"mysterious-landmarks-on-mars-have-been-discovered-by-nasa-science","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/5646\/","title":{"rendered":"Mysterious landmarks on Mars have been discovered by NASA &#8211; Science"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">NASA has shared images of bizarre looking landmarks on Mars over the years \u2014 prompting many to debate the possibility that the Red Planet was once home to aliens.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Our fascination with Mars is one which simply refuses to die.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">As one of Earth&#8217;s closest neighbours and one of the more likely candidates for life &#8211; let&#8217;s be honest, nobody is surviving on the gassy giants such as Jupiter and Saturn &#8211; the Red Planet remains one of the focal points in our search for a lost <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ladbible.com\/aliens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alien civilisation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Often living up to its nickname, Mars often looks like a desolate <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ladbible.com\/environment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">red wasteland<\/a> in images shared by <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ladbible.com\/nasa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASA<\/a>. However this hasn&#8217;t stopped online sleuths from pouring over satellite imagery in hopes of finding signs of life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">And of course, anyone who looks long enough is bound to find something.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">One particular image which has captured the attention of alien sleuths is the image of an &#8216;exclamation mark&#8217; landmark on the planet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Captured in 2011 by NASA&#8217;s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), the spacecraft was able to capture the image of what appeared to be a giant exclamation mark on the Libya Montes highland area of the Mars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Could this be finally be evidence of the long lost alien civilisation we&#8217;ve all been looking for? As always, it depends on who you ask.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"What do you think, man-made or naturally occurring?
