\n\"Tangerine \t\t\t<\/p>\n

A new food and events hall under an iconic Salford railway station has opened its doors to the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Conceived by a collective of local creatives, Tangerine is a promising new venue in the heart of Salford Central<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere is warm, the decor is picturesque, and the food includes a little bit of everything, including a family-run Ukrainian partisan bakery, a burger joint, and a Mexican taqueria, with more to be introduced over the coming months.<\/p>\n

Laura Ball, general manager, said: \u201cI lived in Salford for four years, in Alto apartment block, which is around the corner from here. Everything inside Tangerine has a Salford spin on it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis used to be closed constantly. Next door was the general store and post office. So the only kind of bar around here with nightlife entertainment was Menagerie.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that closed about two years ago. We\u2019ve definitely been missing something for the Salford nightlife scene. You have got loads of residents around here, loads of students as well, they need somewhere accessible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Designed by the brains behind the Northern Quarter bar Mala, Tangerine will ensure that local artists, local independent traders, and creatives from across Salford will be celebrated at the venue. Working spaces, a live music hall, and food and drinks for residents to enjoy.<\/p>\n

Tangerine owner Artyom Dmitrijev said: \u201cWe\u2019ve used all our experience in design, interiors, architecture, and hospitality to create our dream project. This is a new space for creativity, food, and culture, and we\u2019re proud to be part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking towards the future, Tangerine plans to change its opening time from 12 pm to 8 am, allowing morning commuters to come in and grab a coffee.<\/p>\n

Lauren added: \u201cThe idea is that you never really have to leave: you can come in, have your lunch, then stay for a dance afterwards\u201d.<\/p>\n
