Kelly Brook has opened up about a surprising celebrity encounter as she gears up for her biggest challenge yet – heading into the I\u2019m A Celebrity jungle(Image: Tim Merry\/Staff Photographer)<\/p>\n

I\u2019m A Celebrity contestant Kelly Brook has lifted the lid on her awkward run-in with a huge American superstar – revealing she was completely ignored during a live interview.<\/p>\n

The 45-year-old model and presenter<\/a>, who joins this year\u2019s jungle line-up<\/a> alongside Ruby Wax, Lisa Riley and social media star Angry Ginge, recalled the uncomfortable moment while speaking about her experiences on air. Kelly, who has co-hosted Heart Radio<\/a>\u2019s drivetime show with Jason \u201cJK\u201d King since 2019, admitted one celebrity encounter still stands out for all the wrong reasons. \u201cI do have one. Mine was Lizzo,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n

“I thought she would be a bit more for the women but she didn\u2019t take her glasses off and she didn\u2019t look at me once. She just spoke to JK. For me someone like Lizzo is a strong woman and I just thought she would be a bit warmer towards me. But it was like I didn\u2019t even exist.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was weird<\/a>. It was weird. Most people we love. It\u2019s very rare we get one that\u2019s like that. That was unusual,” she continued to The Sun. The former Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> star said she had expected more warmth from the Grammy-winning singer – but was left stunned by the cold reception.<\/p>\n

Kelly\u2019s comments come just as she prepares to swap the radio studio for the Australian jungle, where she\u2019ll face the ultimate challenge on ITV\u2019s I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here!<\/a><\/p>\n

Before flying out, Kelly was spotted at Heathrow Airport with husband Jeremy Parisi as she prepared to say goodbye to home comforts – and her beloved dog, Teddy.<\/p>\n

She admitted:”I am going to miss my dog Teddy and my husband Jeremy.\u201d According to insiders, Kelly went above and beyond to make sure her pampered pooch was well cared for during her time away.<\/p>\n

A source told The Sun: “Kelly is besotted with Teddy and he is used to fine dining, so Kelly spent all hours making sure the freezer was piled high with his special dinners.”<\/p>\n

They added: “There\u2019s everything from poached salmon with cavolo nero cabbage through to venison steak with Chantenay carrots. She didn\u2019t have much time to get everything sorted among all her work commitments but catering for Teddy was the priority.”<\/p>\n

Reports also claim Kelly even labelled Teddy\u2019s meals to stop her husband from accidentally eating them.<\/p>\n

Kelly, who married Italian model in 2022, is said to have finally been convinced to enter the jungle after years of saying she\u2019d never do it.<\/p>\n

Back in 2018, she told The Sun: “I hate confined spaces. I don\u2019t want to eat eyeballs or sheep testicles. Even if I had a huge tax bill I had to pay it urgently, I still wouldn\u2019t do it.” Now, seven years later, Kelly has had a change of heart – and fans are eager to see how the glamorous TV personality copes with bugs, bushtucker trials and jungle life.<\/p>\n
