Liverpool have been told they may have to fend off future interest from Real Madrid in Dominik Szoboszlai with the midfielder praised as being good enough to play for any team in the world. Szoboszlai has been in outstanding form for a stuttering Reds this season having starred in a number of roles across midfield and at right-back.<\/p>\n

The Hungary international was the star performer for Arne Slot’s<\/a> side in their recent 1-0 Champions League<\/a> win over Real Madrid at Anfield<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And former Liverpool<\/a> midfielder Igor Biscan, who won the Champions League with the Reds in 2005, believes the European Super League advocates could become interested in signing Szoboszlai.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cDominik Szoboszlai is such a good player and is able to play in so many positions that any team in the world would probably want to have a player like him,” said Biscan.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe can defend, he can really be the one to put pressure, to be aggressive, he can deliver from set pieces, he can attack the box.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe can do whatever he wants to do on the football pitch and be a threat, and run the whole day, and he’s also very good looking!<\/p>\n

\u201cFor sure, his qualities are so good he can play in any team in the world, that\u2019s why Real Madrid might be interested.\u201d<\/p>\n

Real Madrid have already taken Trent Alexander-Arnold<\/a> from Liverpool earlier this year and are believed keen on signing Ibrahima Konate<\/a> on a free transfer should the centre-back fail to agree a new Anfield deal before the end of the season.<\/p>\n

The Reds go into the international break in eighth place after losing five of their last six Premier League<\/a> games in defence of the title, with Slot coming under increasing scrutiny.<\/p>\n

And speaking to BOYLE Sports, who offer Champions League odds,<\/a> Biscan said: “There is pressure, but for every manager at that level, there is always pressure.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t think his job is in question.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven if he doesn\u2019t win the league, just by doing what he did last year, after what happened before he arrived and how difficult his job was, it was exceptional.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody was saying it would be extremely difficult for him to really continue what Jurgen Klopp<\/a> had done before him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a quality manager, and he deserves a lot of credit and he needs time. There are so many new players, and you need time to make them work together.<\/p>\n
