Daniel Farke will almost certainly lose his job at Leeds United if circumstances give 49ers Enterprises the chance to make a move they\u2019ve had their eye on for months.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Whites are one point above the bottom three in the Premier League currently and Daniel Farke is facing calls for Leeds to sack him<\/a> after some worrying results.<\/p>\n Leeds were beaten 3-1 at Nottingham Forest<\/a> on Sunday, a week after losing 3-0 at Brighton, and the manager is now under real pressure this season.<\/p>\n Leeds aren\u2019t expected to sack Farke before facing Aston Villa<\/a> after the international break but, fair or not fair to him, it looks close to inevitable that he\u2019ll be gone before the end of the season if a viable replacement is available.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Paraag Marathe expected to sack Daniel Farke<\/strong><\/p>\n Whether the Whites are in a position right now where a change of manager is the only course of action is up for debate.<\/p>\n If it wasn\u2019t for the fact that Sunderland are making a mockery of the recent trend that saw promoted sides struggle mightily in the Premier League it might be acceptable to sit outside the relegation zone over a quarter of the way through the campaign.<\/p>\n But the division is far more congested this term and the Black Cats sitting fourth is showing what is possible. <\/p>\n Familiar complaints from the fans around Farke<\/a>\u2018s style of play, team selections, and lack of substitutions are increasingly valid if he fails to get results, even if he has overcome such accusations in the past.<\/p>\n It can\u2019t be ignored that the former Norwich boss was appointed to get the club promoted and he did so, but there are clear signs that the owners viewed that as his role in the long-term plan, with another boss always expected to carry out the next phase.<\/p>\n On paper that wouldn\u2019t be a wild position to take in the first place, with three second-tier titles on his CV and a Play Off final appearance compared to two relegations in the top flight with Norwich, the second of which saw him sacked during the season.<\/p>\n Paraag Marathe had to come out and publicly commit to Farke<\/a> in the summer as the German faced doubts over his future even as the Leeds boss was mutedly celebrating winning the Championship<\/a> and securing promotion.<\/p>\n Marathe flew in seemingly to discuss Farke\u2019s exit<\/a> amid doubts among the ownership group, and the change of heart may have come more from the harsh optics than genuine intention to stick with him long term.<\/p>\n It has been highlighted how Marathe was in the Leeds boardroom when Andrea Radrizzani delayed sacking Jesse Marsch<\/a>.<\/p>\n The debacle around the American\u2019s exit three seasons ago was played about as badly as possible and surely makes clear to the 49ers that moving earlier rather than later is preferable if it will happen eventually either way.<\/p>\n The Americans ultimately took over amid the chaos relegation cause that summer and settled on Farke to be the man to get the club back up, but they won\u2019t be content to be a yo-yo club.<\/p>\n He can leave with his head held high if they do remove him, having ultimately succeeded despite huge pressure to do so along the way, but a change in the dug out feels like it was the plan all along.<\/p>\n Enjoyed this article?<\/strong>\u00a0Stay connected with all the latest Leeds United news, updates, and behind-the-scenes content by following us on our new Instagram account \u2013\u00a0@motleedsnews<\/a><\/p>\n ![\"Leeds](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/daniel-farke-1-1024x683.jpg\")
