Sweden manager Graham Potter<\/a> has eased injury concerns around Liverpool<\/a> star Alexander Isak<\/a>, confident the striker has \u2018no problems\u2019.<\/p>\n Isak joined the Premier League<\/a> champions for record \u00a3125million fee in August but has scored just one goal for his new club.<\/p>\n The former Newcastle United<\/a> star has not featured since mid-October, missing his side\u2019s last five games due to a groin injury. He was back in the squad last Sunday against Manchester City<\/a> but did not come off the bench as Arne Slot\u2019s side were soundly beaten at the Etihad.<\/a><\/p>\n Isak missed 12 games through groin injuries during the 2023-24 season and two last term but it is not clear at this stage where his most recent issue is related or a fresh one.<\/a><\/p>\n Despite his recent absence, Isak was included in Potter\u2019s first Sweden squad since his appointment on a short-term deal last month. He is doing well, he has no problems.\u2019<\/p>\n Sweden suffered a humiliating defeat to Kosovo in October that left their World Cup qualifying hopes in huge doubt.<\/p>\n After the loss, Isak did not hold back in his assessment of the situation, declaring the national team to be in a \u2018crisis situation\u2019.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018It\u2019s too damn bad. Embarrassing. Disappointed once again,\u2019 Isak said after Sweden\u2019s latest defeat.<\/p>\n \u2018We\u2019re playing too badly. The way we\u2019re playing doesn\u2019t work. We\u2019re doing it too badly individually too. So it\u2019s a combination of everything really.<\/p>\n \u2018We are so damn dissatisfied as players. And as I\u2019ve said before, we take a lot of responsibility ourselves. We look at ourselves in the mirror. And no one is approved. Not us players, not us as a team. And that of course includes the coach and everything around.<\/p>\n \u2018It\u2019s a bit of a crisis situation and that\u2019s clear. I don\u2019t know what we\u2019re going to do.
