Birmingham City celebrated lifting the League One winners\u2019 trophy on Sunday \u2013 and Chris Davies<\/a> capped the perfect day by being crowned Manager of the Year.<\/p>\n Davies emerged victorious over Phil Parkinson, Nathan Jones and Richie Wellens at the EFL Awards dinner after a season which saw Blues<\/a> shatter the League One points record.<\/p>\n Blues\u2019 4-0 victory over Mansfield<\/a> on Sunday saw them reach 105 points and eclipse the previous points record set by Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2013\/14. Two more points from the final two games would see Blues set a new EFL points record.<\/p>\n It wasn\u2019t the perfect night for Blues, however, as Tomoki Iwata missed out on the Player of the Year gong to Wycombe Wanderers’ Richard Kone.<\/p>\n Iwata did make it into the Team of the Year alongside Blues teammates Christoph Klarer and Alex Cochrane but there were a number of omissions.<\/p>\n Ryan Allsop was overlooked despite 20 clean sheets in League One landing him the Golden Glove award.
