Ex-Manchester United and Chelsea striker Mark Hughes has put his luxury \u00a35.5m Cheshire mansion on the market for a third time<\/p>\n

Former Manchester United<\/a> forward Mark Hughes<\/a> has put his stunning \u00a35.5million mansion up for sale for a third time. Located in Cheshire<\/a>, the property spans approximately 8,892 square feet and sits on around two acres of land.<\/p>\n

Hughes spent 13 years at United across two spells, initially making his breakthrough aged 20 in the early 1980s before returning to Old Trafford in 1988 following stints with Barcelona<\/a> and Bayern Munich<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In total, the 62-year-old made over 450 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions, scoring 161 goals during that time.<\/p>\n

His playing career also saw him represent Chelsea<\/a>, Southampton<\/a>, Everton <\/a>and Blackburn Rovers before hanging up his boots in 2002. Hughes has since enjoyed an impressive managerial career, taking charge of the Welsh national team<\/a> as well as Blackburn, Manchester City<\/a>, Fulham<\/a> and Southampton, among others.<\/p>\n

Hughes is currently the manager of National League side Carlisle United, having taken over in February this year. The club were relegated from League Two<\/a> in April, ending their 20-year stay in the Football<\/a> League.<\/p>\n

Now, the former United and Chelsea star has put his Cheshire mansion back on the market for a third time, having previously listed it twice before – most recently in 2020. According to the listing, the property boasts six bedrooms and an impressive seven bathrooms.<\/p>\n

It has been described by the estate agents as an “expansive, design-led family home with a luxury leisure suite in a prestigious Cheshire location.”<\/p>\n

The leisure suite includes an indoor pool, spa and gym, while the grounds feature a tennis court and even a private golf<\/a> green.<\/p>\n

Alongside its immaculately finished interiors – described in the listing as using “a refined palette of materials” – the property also features a cinema room, a separate one-bedroom annexe, a smart home system and underfloor heating throughout.<\/p>\n

The home is situated in Cheshire\u2019s well-known ‘Golden Triangle’, often referred to as the ‘Footballer Belt’.<\/p>\n

The five-mile stretch is renowned for its affluence and luxury properties, with Liverpool<\/a> captain Virgil van Dijk<\/a>, along with former Premier League<\/a> stars Trent Alexander-Arnold<\/a> and Kevin De Bruyne<\/a>, among the area\u2019s current and previous famous residents.<\/p>\n
