Linsey, who is L.A.-based, is pivoting to focus on the U.S. and the L.A. scripted unit. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBBC Studios said Hall will \u201cwork closely with BBC Studios\u2019 creative leads to win new commissions, maintain editorial excellence, and deepen partnerships with global buyers including the BBC, Netflix, Apple\u00a0TV+, HBO, Amazon, and Disney.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe newly-created role was first announced by BBC Studios a few months ago and had attracted the attention of multiple big names in the UK scripted world. The job is a big one, a newly-created role from BBC Studios Productions boss Zai Bennett that means Hall is now working across some of the biggest shows in the UK and abroad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHall joins from his role as president of Vice Studios UK where he has led production and distribution for the past couple of years. Prior to that he was chief operating officer of scripted for Vice-owned Pulse Films. His past credits include Medici: Masters of Florence and The Man in the High Castle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHall will report into Bennett, who said: \u201cJamie\u2019s a dynamic and respected leader with a proven track record across the scripted landscape.
