{"id":568149,"date":"2025-11-13T18:20:20","date_gmt":"2025-11-13T18:20:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/568149\/"},"modified":"2025-11-13T18:20:20","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T18:20:20","slug":"tottenham-could-pay-a-club-record-70m-fee-after-identifying-new-priority-target","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/568149\/","title":{"rendered":"Tottenham could pay a club-record \u00a370m fee after identifying new priority target"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Tottenham Hotspur have identified a Premier League star as their top January target, and they are willing to spend big on him when the transfer window opens in January.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even though we are still a month and a half away from the start of the January window, speculation has already gone into hyperdrive regarding who the Lilywhites\u2019 top targets are.<\/p>\n<p>Over recent weeks, several outlets have said that signing <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/spurs-news\/tottenham-have-87m-striker-and-a-new-winger-on-their-ambitious-january-wishlist\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a striker and a winger are Thomas Frank\u2019s top priorities in January<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Just a few days ago, it was reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/spurs-news\/tottenham-turn-to-more-attainable-60m-target-after-morgan-rogers-contract-twist\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">following Morgan Rogers\u2019 decision to sign a new contract, Tottenham are ready to turn their attentions to an Everton star<\/a>, and there has now been a big update regarding the player in question.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GettyImages-2246002754-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Tottenham target Iliman Ndiaye\" class=\"wp-image-367405\" \/>Photo by Chris Brunskill\/Fantasista\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The previously reported information has now been backed up by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fichajes.net\/noticias\/fichaje-bomba-prepara-tottenham-mercado-invernal-20251111.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fichajes<\/a>, who say that Iliman Ndiaye has now emerged as Tottenham\u2019s \u2018priority\u2019 target in January following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/morgan-rogers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rogers<\/a> contract development.<\/p>\n<p>The report says that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/tottenham\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spurs<\/a> have \u2018launched a significant offensive\u2019 on the Everton man, and are determined to move quickly to land the player.<\/p>\n<p>This is because Ndiaye\u2019s versatility and his profile make him the perfect fit for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/thomas-frank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frank\u2019s<\/a> system, and the Lilywhites want to avoid falling behind in the transfer race.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Tottenham have \u2018already made initial contact\u2019 regarding a deal for the 25-year-old and are now \u2018considering a substantial offer\u2019 for the player.<\/p>\n<p>Spurs could break their transfer record on Ndiaye<\/p>\n<p>Fichajes say that Tottenham have to break the bank to land the Senegal international, who is thought to be valued at around \u00a360m-\u00a370m.<\/p>\n<p>That could make him the North London club\u2019s most expensive signing, beating the \u00a365m they paid to land <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/dominic-solanke\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dominic Solanke<\/a> from Bournemouth in the summer of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The outlet also says that getting Ndiaye out of Everton will not be easy, with Frank\u2019s men having work to do to convince the wide-forward about a move to N17 and to overcome the competition for his signature.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       Have something to tell us about this article?
