The\u00a0Persimmon\u00a0Foundation\u00a0is excited to announce a donation of \u00a350,000 to the Bristol City Robins\u00a0Foundation\u00a0(BCRF).<\/p>\n
BCRF will use the donation to provide tailored mentoring, life skills development, and wellbeing support for up to 150 14-25-year-olds not in education, employment or training (NEET), or at risk of becoming NEET.\u00a0<\/p>\n
BCRF is the official charity of Bristol City FC, committed to making a positive difference to the lives of people across Bristol and the surrounding areas. <\/p>\n
Using the power of football and the club\u2019s reach, the\u00a0Foundation\u00a0delivers high-quality programmes in education, health, inclusion, and football development.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The \u00a350,000 will enable the charity to reach even more young people after funding for its NEET programme was extended for another two years. <\/p>\n
The cheque was presented to the charity at the Ashton Gate Stadium alongside local Member of Parliament, Karin Smyth MP.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Persimmon\u00a0Foundation, established in 2015, has a track record of advancing urban regeneration, health, education, and poverty alleviation. <\/p>\n
With organisations over \u00a31m donated to local charities and community groups in the past three years, the\u00a0foundation\u00a0continues to make a tangible impact in communities where the\u00a0Persimmon\u00a0Group operates.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Anthony Vigor, chair of trustees for the\u00a0Persimmon\u00a0Foundation, commented: \u201cPartnering with the Bristol City Robins\u00a0Foundation\u00a0is an incredible opportunity to support long-term, meaningful change in the region. <\/p>\n
