A man has been arrested for “acting suspiciously” after claims of an attempted child abduction at GlasGlow light show.<\/p>\n

A family with a toddler had been at the popular show in Botanic Gardens<\/a> in Glasgow at 8.30pm on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

They raised the alarm after they claimed a man had approached their child as they left the park.<\/p>\n

Police officers were called to nearby Great Western Road. A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a breach of the peace. He is due to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.<\/p>\n

Police Scotland said “no child was taken” but confirmed an investigation is underway.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.25pm on Sunday, 9 November, 2025, we received a report of a man acting suspiciously on Great Western Road, Glasgow.<\/p>\n

“Officers attended and a 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a breach of the peace. He will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. No child <\/a>was taken.<\/p>\n

“Enquiries are ongoing.”<\/p>\n

GlasGLOW has been approached for comment.<\/p>\n
