{"id":56894,"date":"2025-04-28T07:44:11","date_gmt":"2025-04-28T07:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/56894\/"},"modified":"2025-04-28T07:44:11","modified_gmt":"2025-04-28T07:44:11","slug":"putin-reaffirms-russias-thanks-to-north-korea-for-its-support-in-retaking-kursk-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/56894\/","title":{"rendered":"Putin reaffirms Russia\u2019s thanks to North Korea for its support in retaking Kursk region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISTANBUL <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday reaffirmed his country\u2019s thanks for North Korea\u2019s support to Moscow in retaking its border region of Kursk, where Ukraine had launched an incursion in August last year.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement released by the Kremlin, Putin said that units of the North Korean army played an active role in pushing Ukrainian troops out of the border region \u201cin full compliance with international law\u201d and the strategic partnership deal signed between Moscow and Pyongyang in November 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKorean friends acted based on a sense of solidarity, justice and genuine comradeship.
