The best campsites across Scotland have been named for 2025. A total of 19 Scottish sites were honoured at the Campsites.co.uk<\/a> UK Camping<\/a> and Glamping Awards, taking home a total of 25 gongs.<\/p>\n The awards highlight the best spots for camping, glamping, and touring, focusing on sites that go above and beyond for their guests throughout the year.<\/p>\n The award winners ranged from quiet, off-grid campsites to larger family holiday parks and stylish glamping hotspots. So no matter what type of outdoorsy staycation<\/a> people are after, there is something for everyone.<\/p>\n The big winner for Scotland was Glen Nevis Caravan and Camping Park<\/a>, which took home one of the top awards while also being runner up in another key category.<\/p>\n The camping park sits in the shadow of the UK’s tallest mountain, Ben Nevis<\/a>, and it stood tall itself, winning the Best Campsite (Highlands and Argyll) and being a runner-up for Best Family Campsite (Highlands and Argyll).<\/p>\n Awards bosses praised the site, just a short hop from Fort William<\/a>, for its customer service and wide range of facilities, including an outdoor kitchen serving takeaways and a playground that’s ideal for families.<\/p>\n Its onsite bar and restaurant serves up pub classics and traditional Scottish dishes like homemade stovies, as well as a wide range of Scottish whiskies<\/a> and gins.<\/p>\n There are few campsites that can match the natural beauty of Glen Nevis, which is set in over 1,000 acres of Highland estate. There are Highland cows nearby, the opportunity for fishing in the River Nevis, and it was even the setting for Hogwarts’ quidditch pitch in the Harry Potter movies.<\/p>\n Glen Nevis Caravan and Camping Park boasts an impressive 4.83 star rating, with a whopping 99 per cent of guests saying they would recommend the site.<\/p>\n Punters have left gushing reviews, with one describing it as “the best campsite I’ve ever stayed at in Scotland” and another hailing it for having “the best atmosphere and all the amenities and extras needed”.<\/p>\n Some of Scotland’s other winners included Balloch O Dee<\/a> in Newton Stewart, The Bus Stop<\/a> in Gifford, near Edinburgh, and Blair Drummond Caravan Park<\/a> in Stirlingshire.<\/p>\n Balloch O Dee was named the Best Campsite for the Central Lowlands and Southern Uplands, while The Bus Stop was crowned Best Glamping Site for Scotland and was also a runner-up for the UK-wide Most Unique Site award, thanks to its set up of using renovated buses as faux caravans.<\/p>\n Blair Drummond was another site that performed well across two categories, after being named the Best Family Campsite (Central and Lowland Scotland) while being runner-up for the same region’s Best Caravan Park award.<\/p>\n![\"Glen](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1763113038_766_0_Glen-Nevis-Camping-Park.jpg\")
