Princess Anne<\/a> sparked a royal frenzy this week after she sported an outfit she first wore 52 years ago. While undertaking a two-day tour<\/a> of Singapore earlier in the week to mark 60 years of diplomatic relations between the country and the United Kingdom, fans couldn’t keep her eyes off her impeccable suit.<\/p>\n

On her last day, she visited the Airbus Asia Training Centre and Rolls-Royce Seletar campus, where she strapped herself into a pilot’s seat for a simulated flight and closely admired huge Rolls-Royce jet engines. Royal fans were delighted to see the princess, but were even more jubilant to spot her wearing an outfit she first wore in 1973.<\/p>\n

Anne donned a beige short-sleeved suit with a brown striped shirt underneath, black shoes and a black bag. She was first spotted wearing the suit back in 1973, when she attended a polo match at Windsor Great Park with her former husband, Mark Phillips, on July 29.<\/p>\n

Fans praised the King\u2019s sister and named her the ultimate \u201crecycling queen\u201d on social media.<\/p>\n

One user wrote on X: \u201cQueen of recycling [star emoji] 1973\/2025.\u201d Another person commented: \u201cWow! I\u2019m more impressed that she fits into the same suit 50 years later!\u201d<\/p>\n

A third one said: \u201cOver 50 years and it still fits? That’s an achievement in itself.\u201d<\/p>\n

A fourth one chimed: \u201cClassic style..good she can still get in to it after all these years.\u201d<\/p>\n

While another user said: \u201cAn intelligent woman, even if she’s a princess, knows how to manage her wardrobe. Her clothes are of excellent quality, and wearing them only a few times over the years has kept them looking new. Furthermore The Princess’s style has always been cutting edge!\u201d<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Anne sat at the controls of an Airbus A350 flight simulator and buckled her seatbelt as she laughed during her safety briefing with the captain.<\/p>\n

At the same time, her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, was preparing to experience a flight in a separate simulator suspended in the air in a vast open-plan room.<\/p>\n

Beforehand, Anne recalled the last time she went in a flight simulator and she was reassured the A350 would be gentle.<\/p>\n
