Read more: Boy stabbed in Birmingham city centre in yet another knife attack<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n And another stabbing took place, near the Bullring shopping centre and close to the iconic Bull bronze sculpture, on Thursday (November 13) at around 8pm.<\/p>\n A 17-year-old was stabbed and a spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service<\/a> said: \u201cWe were called to reports of a stabbing near to the Bullring at 8.16pm last night.<\/p>\n \u201cOne ambulance and a MERIT (Medical Emergency Response Incident Team) trauma doctor, with a Critical Care Paramedic, attended the scene.<\/p>\n \u201cOn arrival we discovered one patient, a teenage male, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to hospital for further assessment.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bull at the Bullring -Credit:Graham Young \/ BirminghamLive<\/p>\n And five arrests have been made, including a 14-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder, three 18-year-olds were held on suspicion of wounding and a 22-year-old man was held on suspicion of assisting an offender.<\/p>\n In response to the knife incidents, West Midlands Police<\/a> has pledged to keep city centre visitors \u2018safe\u2019.<\/p>\n The city centre\u2019s Christmas<\/a> Market is already in full swing and expected to get busier.
