Liverpool<\/a> have fallen eight points off top spot in the Premier League<\/a> table after enduring a nightmare run of results. The Reds have lost five of their last six league matches and are now eighth in the table.<\/p>\n

Liverpool<\/a> boss Arne Slot<\/a> has come under increasing pressure in recent weeks, although he was helped by the Reds\u2019 Champions League victory over Real Madrid<\/a> last week. The Merseyside giants whimpered to a 3-0 defeat<\/a> against Manchester City<\/a> on Sunday, with the Dutchman struggling to find solutions to his team\u2019s recent woes. And Express Sport takes a look at four managers Liverpool<\/a> could turn to if they decide to replace their current boss.<\/p>\n

Oliver Glasner<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oliver Glasner has excelled as Crystal Palace manager since joining the club last February. The Austrian led the Eagles to FA Cup success<\/a> in May courtesy of a victory over Manchester City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Glasner has performed his role without being able to spend the sort of money some of the top Premier League clubs have been able to. He has also been forced to contend with a host of his best players leaving. So if given the chance to take on a squad of Liverpool\u2019s calibre, you\u2019d back him to take the team forward.<\/p>\n

Roberto De Zerbi<\/strong><\/p>\n

Roberto De Zerbi is another manager who proved to be a success in charge of a non-big six club in England. The Italian led the Seagulls to back-to-back 11th-place Premier League finishes before moving on to take charge of Marseille last year.<\/p>\n

Marseille have been the second-best team in France under De Zerbi and are back playing in the Champions League this season. And with the resources on offer at Anfield, he could move up a level and build something special with the Reds.<\/p>\n

Julian Nagelsmann<\/strong><\/p>\n

Julian Nagelsmann is currently in charge of Germany after spending just under two seasons overseeing Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n

He has plenty of big-game experience and could represent a safe pair of hands if given the top job at Anfield.<\/p>\n

At the age of 38, he still has plenty to learn. But his arrival in the north west could send a statement to Liverpool\u2019s biggest rivals.<\/p>\n

Jurgen Klopp<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

If Liverpool could persuade Jurgen Klopp to return to the club as manager, it would be seen as a huge coup.<\/p>\n

The German guided the Reds to two Premier League titles as well as Champions League and Club World Cup success during a nine-year stay on Merseyside.<\/p>\n

Klopp has a rapport with players and fans that would be virtually impossible to replicate.
