This pile of waste measuring more than 500ft long could be Britain\u2019s biggest ever fly-tip.<\/p>\n
The massive heap of hazardous rubbish is around 20ft deep, and was illegally dumped in a field next to the A34 and River Cherwell near\u00a0Kidlington\u00a0in Oxfordshire<\/a>.<\/p>\n The waste was left in one go and described by an MP as \u2018threatening an environmental disaster\u2019.<\/p>\n It was discovered last month by local anglers and contains plastic, foam and wood.<\/p>\n Charity Friends of the Thames told the BBC<\/a>: \u2018This is an environmental catastrophe unfolding in plain sight.
