It sounded almost like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/fireworks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fireworks<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were flashes coming from the shutter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fire brigade came into my building and asked us to evacuate. Luckily they came on time. It\u2019s a bit concerning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A SFRS spokeswoman said: \u201cWe are in attendance now. We got our first call 4.31pm today. There were reports of smoke coming from the building.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe mobilised three fire appliances and one high-reach appliance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cops have advised people to avoid the area.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson said: \u201cWest Nile Street in Glasgow is closed from Renfield Street to Bath Street after a fire was reported at a premises in West Nile Street around 4.35pm on Saturday, 15 November, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMotorists are advised to avoid the area.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A BUSY Glasgow street has been sealed off amid a major fire.
