Nick Woltemade says he can \u201cstill score no matter what\u201d after his crucial goal for Germany, with Julian Nagelsmann offering special praise for the Newcastle striker\u2019s impact.<\/p>\n
The 23-year-old rescued Germany from a potentially embarrassing result against Luxembourg, scoring both goals in their 2-0 win on Friday (November 14).<\/p>\n

Woltemade<\/a> has impressed at club level too, scoring four goals in his eight Premier League appearances for Newcastle<\/a> following his move in the summer.<\/p>\n Speaking after the game, he couldn\u2019t help but revel in his performance and his current form, saying: “I’ve developed great confidence in my abilities and a really good feeling that I know: no matter how the game goes, I can still score a goal.”<\/p>\n “It feels good to score goals, and these two were very important,” he added.<\/p>\n When asked about whether he was worried about potential competition for the number nine spot with the German national team from the likes of Kai Havertz, Niclas Fullkrug or Tim Kleindienst, he replied, “no honestly, not really.”<\/p>\n He added: “This is the biggest tournament in the world, a dream for everyone to play in.
