They are rarely at the centre of palace power plays, but Princess Beatrice<\/a> and Princess Eugenie<\/a> move in circles where private money, property and privilege overlap.<\/p>\n

Between corporate paycheques, family trusts, \u201cgrace-and-favour\u201d housing and wealthy husbands, the sisters\u2019 financial picture is more layered than some might expect for the Royal Family<\/a> members. Just recently, their father, Prince Andrew, lost his Royal titles and will leave his Windsor mansion.<\/a><\/p>\n

Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, are the daughters of Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, nicknamed Fergie. The princesses are not working royals, but do occasionally undertake engagements. Here, we take a look at their finances and where their income comes from.<\/a><\/p>\n

Both sisters split time between London and the countryside, and both have benefited from access to royal housing.<\/p>\n

Princess Eugenie has long been associated with Ivy Cottage, a stand-alone house on the grounds of Kensington Palace, which the public record shows has been used as a grace-and-favour residence by junior royals.<\/p>\n

Ivy Cottage has been widely reported as Eugenie\u2019s London base in recent years. Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi maintain a country base in the Cotswolds, reported in property coverage as a farmhouse purchase in 2021 valued in press reports at around \u00a33 to \u00a34million.<\/p>\n

Beatrice has also previously been listed as resident in apartments associated with St James\u2019s Palace. These grace-and-favour arrangements – where the Crown makes properties available to family members – significantly reduce living costs for younger royals.<\/p>\n

Princess Beatrice has worked in technology<\/a> and partnership roles, and is listed in public profiles and corporate filings as having held senior roles at commercial firms.<\/p>\n

Princess Eugenie has a long association with the art world<\/a>; she worked at Paddle8 and later joined Hauser & Wirth, serving as an associate director and then director in the contemporary art gallery world. Those gallery and director roles form the bulk of her earned income.<\/p>\n

Exact salaries are not public, but gallery director and senior corporate partnership roles in London typically place annual pay into the low-to-mid six-figure range for senior positions – though the princesses\u2019 precise compensation packages are private.<\/p>\n
