It\u2019s annoying because I don\u2019t think I touched the guy &#8211; I won the ball.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">&#8220;We needed the win and got it, but it\u2019s frustrating. You\u2019d like to score more goals, but we did what we had to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">James echoed Ampadu\u2019s frustration, admitting he knew instantly the booking would rule him out of the biggest game of the campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">\u201cYou don\u2019t think about it in the moment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">\u201cThey were breaking and I had to stop it. I\u2019m disappointed, but we\u2019ve got enough in the squad to win it on Tuesday. I\u2019ll be right behind the lads.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">Wales\u2019 midfield options were already stretched, with injuries to Ramsey and others, and Bellamy has repeatedly admitted his side are not blessed with depth in that area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">The head coach was himself suspended for the match in Liechtenstein, leaving assistant Piet Cremers to take charge in the dugout.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">Cremers said Wales would \u201cadapt\u201d without their two suspended stars but warned of the serious challenge North Macedonia will pose at Cardiff City Stadium.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">\u201cIt\u2019s going to be a hard game,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">\u201cThey\u2019ve had some really good results. We just have to stay patient, create the opportunities and take them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">Cremers added: &#8220;We knew we had to take care of today.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">&#8220;We did that and now our focus goes to North Macedonia It will be another difficult game in Cardiff but we play at home, we&#8217;ve got our fans in numbers and we&#8217;ll look to turn it into a positive result.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">&#8220;This is a type of game where everyone expects you to win 5-0, 6-0, 7-0, but when you come to these places it can be a difficult game.&#8221;We&#8217;ve seen that with teams that have played here before, like Belgium who struggled to score goals in the first half.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">&#8220;It&#8217;s a team that&#8217;s very well organised, they keep the spaces small, and try to limit your chances.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"walesonline\">&#8220;We had some good moments to score a second. When you don&#8217;t score that second or third goal it becomes more tricky.
