A new event has been announced for Children in Need appeal day.<\/strong><\/p>\n TikTok stars and popular food chains are set to descend on Salford for the BBC\u2019s annual Children in Need appeal day, which takes place today (14 November).<\/p>\n Pudsey\u2019s Piazza will open from 4pm to 8pm and will feature Spud Bros, a viral food vendor set to serve their famous jacket potatoes dubbed \u201cSpudseys\u201d in their new \u201cSpudmobile.\u201d<\/p>\n The brothers, originally from Preston, have become viral sensations and have served several famous stars, including pop group Jonas Brothers and YouTube group The Sidemen.<\/p>\n The event will also feature Greggs\u2019 double-decker bus, which has featured at festivals across the country and McDonald\u2019s fun football sessions with special guests taking part.<\/p>\n The event has been created to mark the BBC\u2019s 2025 appeal theme of Challenge Yourself and as part of that, the RAF will be on site with a real-life Red Arrows replica after Radio 1 presenter Greg James rode in the cockpit for his Red Arrows Challenge.<\/p>\n Visitors to the event will get the chance to take a photo with pilots and step inside the plane.<\/p>\n TikTok sensation DJ AG will also be doing an official livestream as he attempts to complete the challenge of featuring 25 special guests in one stream.<\/p>\n The DJ, known best for his street performances, has already collaborated with the likes of Jessie J and Will Smith and his livestreams generate thousands of views. Tickets for the stream are available on Eventbrite and need to be exchanged for a wristband if people want to watch the live stream in person.<\/p>\n The main Children in Need<\/a> live show is also being broadcast from Media City<\/a> for the fifth year in a row and is set to be presented by stars such as Vernon Kay and Rochelle Humes with special musical guests Sam Ryder and Lewis Capaldi making an appearance. Since its inception in 1980, the charity has raised over one billion pounds to help disadvantaged children and young adults in the UK.<\/p>\n The Piazza event is free to attend and hopes to appeal to all ages on Friday with the TV broadcast starting at 7pm on BBC One.<\/p>\n \nRelated<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A new event has been announced for Children in Need appeal day.
