Marco Rose has also been mentioned<\/a>, another manager who is currently unemployed, along with Ange Postecoglou \u2013 a rumoured option<\/a> too.<\/p>\n

Those three are the most recent names to be linked to the Elland Road<\/a> hotseat as Daniel Farke<\/a> oversees a dismal run of four defeats in five Premier League games, although Cesc Fabregas was named as a target<\/a> back in May as the 49ers<\/a> considered a change.<\/p>\n

Mirwan Suwarso \u2013 President of Como \u2013 has now made an interesting comment following these links to Leeds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As quoted by Fabrizio Romano, the 39-year-old told Sky: \u201cFabregas never told me he wants to leave the club. There were a lot of speculations last summer but I was calm as he never wanted to go. I\u2019ve told Cesc I\u2019d love him to indicate our future manager for the next years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Why would Suwarso ask the Spaniard to have a say in who replaces him unless he wasn\u2019t entirely confident of keeping him at Como? That is the question which immediately springs to mind after reading these comments.<\/p>\n

It was TBR Football<\/a> that initially revealed the 49ers are huge admirers of Fabregas, who was even considered by RB Leipzig earlier this year after the aforementioned Rose was sacked.<\/p>\n

Cesc Fabregas would be a bold choice by Leeds United<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old is undoubtedly a precocious talent in the world of football management, but hiring him as a replacement for Farke would represent a huge risk given the circumstances.<\/p>\n

Fabregas has never managed outside of Como let alone in the Premier League, and the task of keeping Leeds up with his lack of experience would be a big ask, especially without the luxury of a pre-season to implement his tactical philosophy. <\/p>\n

However, the situation is certainly worth keeping an eye on after these latest comments from Suwarso.<\/p>\n
