<\/p>\nHe is charged in connection with one of two incidents, which happened on Thursday and Friday, November 13 and 14.<\/p>\n
Police said the 41-year-old has been charged with driving-related offences in relation to Friday\u2019s incident at Bloomfield Avenue in east Belfast.<\/p>\n
The charges include driving with excess alcohol in breath, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, resisting police and assault on police.<\/p>\n
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on December 12.<\/p>\n
A 43-year-old man, arrested in west Belfast on Thursday on suspicion of offences including dangerous driving, driving with excess alcohol in breath and aggravated taking and driving away, has been released on bail pending further police enquiries.<\/p>\n
Details of the ramming incidents emerged on Friday. <\/p>\n

In the east Belfast incident, officers on the Beersbridge Road observed a vehicle allegedly breaching a traffic signal before it collided with the rear of their patrol car at the Bloomfield Avenue junction.<\/p>\n
After a short pursuit, the driver was arrested.<\/p>\n
Three officers were injured, although police say their injuries are not believed to be serious.<\/p>\n
In an separate incident in west Belfast around 11.20pm on Thursday, officers detected a vehicle driving in a suspicious manner in the Falls Road area.<\/p>\n
It turned into Clowney Street where it made off at speed.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson said: \u201cPolice followed the vehicle towards St Mary\u2019s Gardens, where the suspect vehicle rammed the officers\u2019 car, causing substantial damage to its front and rear door panels, before making off.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was later seen on the Grosvenor Road, where it was successfully stung using a Stinger device.\u201d<\/p>\n
