However, for the price he would cost, he does not feel like a top level signing.

Liverpool would be better off sinking the Semenyo money into a truly elite centre-back signing such as Alessandro Bastoni, or use it to buy a proven talent like Bradley Barcola.

It may be that Liverpool’s tracking of Semenyo concludes the same and they move on without making an offer for the Bournemouth man.

But this rumour has been gathering pace for a little while, and whatever we may think of it, it seems to have some serious legs.

Antoine Semenyo’s impressive start to the season with Bournemouth has seen rumours linking him with a move to…

[8815
16239,748,393,20110,4884,179,16,15
0":"post-574401","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-liverpool","8":"tag-antoine-semenyo","9":"tag-britain","10":"tag-england","11":"tag-fabrizio-romano","12":"tag-great-britain","13":"tag-liverpool","14":"tag-uk","15":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
