A Jet2 plane<\/a> was spotted circling for more than more than two hours before landing back at Manchester Airport<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Flight LS1761 from Manchester<\/a> Airport at around 10:45am this morning (Sunday, November 16) for to Agadir in Morocco where, according to flight tracking data, it was due to land at 3:30pm.<\/p>\n

However it was seen circling multiple times around Merseyside at around midday on Sunday, November 16, the Liverpool Echo reports.<\/a><\/p>\n

People on a flight-spotting Facebook page said the Boeing 737 plane had done more than 15 laps around the area.<\/p>\n

According to the airline’s website, after completing its the journey the flight was due to leave Manchester Airport again at 3.15pm and land in Morocco at around 8.10pm today.<\/p>\n

However flight tracking websites said it was diverted and that after circling it landed back at Manchester Airport at around 1:10pm.<\/p>\n

The reason for the diversion is not yet known.<\/p>\n
