Orb\u00e1n said he is \u201cinterested in the future of the European people, among them, the future of the Hungarians,\u201d and \u201ca new security system.\u201d <\/p>\n
A postwar security arrangement for Ukraine should involve \u201ca peace arrangement which stabilize[s] the borders, whether internationally recognized or not,\u201d and \u201cdefinitely a kind of demilitarized zone,\u201d Orb\u00e1n said.<\/p>\n
Unless a \u201cmiracle\u201d happens, Russia will continue occupying the eastern Ukrainian territory of Donetsk after the war, Orb\u00e1n said. \u201cThis is the reality, whether you like it or not,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n
But he poured cold water on fears of an emboldened Russia attacking another European or NATO country. \u201cI think it\u2019s ridiculous to say that the Russians will attack the European Union or NATO, simply because they are not strong enough.
