Drake London entered Week 11 with 53 catches for 691 yards and six receiving touchdowns as one of the Atlanta Falcons<\/a>‘ primary offensive weapons this season.<\/p>\n

Sunday’s Falcons-Panthers game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium reached overtime tied 27-27, before Carolina kicker Ryan Fitzgerald nailed home a game-winning 28-yard field goal midway through extra time. <\/p>\n

The win moved the Panthers up to 6-5 on the year and one game behind the division-leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-4); the Falcons dropped to 3-7 in what was their fifth straight loss.<\/p>\n

However, one of the biggest developments of the game came in overtime when London went down with a knee injury and did not return; a situation the team will now need to monitor heading into Week 12. <\/p>\n

What hurts most is that London was having another productive day before the injury; seven catches for 119 yards (17.0 yards per catch).<\/p>\n

The previous week, he had 104 yards and a touchdown on six catches vs. the Colts, coming off a 118\u2011yard, three\u2011TD outing vs. the Patriots, with Sunday marking his fifth 100\u2011yard game of the NFL season and his third straight.<\/p>\n

London came into the day with a questionable tag due to illness and was previously dealing with a back issue.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, the Falcons have back-to-back road games against the New Orleans Saints (2-8) and New York Jets (2-8), before coming back home to play the Seattle Seahawks (7-2) in Week 14.<\/p>\n

The Saints and Jets boast two of the more susceptible defenses in the NFL<\/a>, but the Seahawks will be a difficult test, with the defense allowing just 19.1 points per game (sixth-fewest).<\/p>\n

With only seven games left and the team sitting four games back of .500, they would probably need to win almost every game remaining to keep playoff hopes alive.<\/p>\n
