Liverpool\u2019s links with Antoine Semenyo simply will not go quiet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Reds may have spent big in the summer, but there are still many areas of the team that need improving or at the very least reinforcements.<\/p>\n

The attack is one of the areas Liverpool<\/a> lack depth, with both flanks in need of some new arrivals. <\/p>\n

One name that is consistently linked is Bournemouth\u2019s Semenyo<\/a>, with the winger on red-hot form that has caught the eye of many.<\/p>\n

Liverpool should be the club that push for him the hardest, though, with the 25-year-old not only an excellent player, but he might just solve one issue that the Reds have not been able to solve for years.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Salah<\/a> has been Liverpool\u2019s talisman ever since he arrived, with the number of goals he has scored being simply frightening.<\/p>\n

However, every two years, the Reds have to find a way to cope without him while he goes to AFCON, an issue they still have not solved.<\/p>\n

That could be until now that is, with getting Semenyo in January the perfect move, both for the short and long term.<\/p>\n

Although he is African himself, Ghanaian to be specific, his nation surprisingly failed to qualify for the tournament, meaning that he would be available for Liverpool from January onwards.<\/p>\n

This would solve the issue the Reds have with trying to find someone to replace Salah, with Semenyo already Premier League-proven and in much better form.<\/p>\n

As well as this, the 25-year-old could even be his long-term replacement too, with this something Liverpool have to start thinking about.<\/p>\n

Antoine Semenyo can solve Liverpool\u2019s left-wing issue too<\/p>\n

Not only is the right wing an issue at Liverpool due to Salah\u2019s drop-off this season, but the other flank has also been under the spotlight.<\/p>\n

Cody Gakpo<\/a> has not quite kicked on like many thought he would, with the Dutchman\u2019s goals drying up as of late.<\/p>\n

However, with Semenyo capable of playing on either side, he can fill in where needed, while also giving Arne Slot another option so he can be unpredictable in his team selection.<\/p>\n
