Following Saturday night’s victory in Coventry, the Nottingham Panthers are beginning preparations for this Saturday’s (22nd November) sold-out home clash with Sheffield Steelers (19:00)
Goals from David No\u00ebl, Ross Armour, Brendan Harris, Mitch Fossier and Jarod Hilderman secured a 5-3 victory for the Panthers in the Skydome.
The Steelers won twice at the weekend as a 2-1 victory at home against Fife Flyers was followed by a 4-3 success on the road at Guildford Flames after a shootout.
Those two wins moved Sheffield to the top of the Elite League table, with Panthers just a point behind and with a game in hand.
Panthers against Steelers is always huge but the battle for the top of the table adds extra spice to the encounter.
Tickets for the game – which is sponsored by Burton Joinery – sold-out over two weeks in advance but you will be able to watch the game live on Panthers TV.<\/a>
