The 2025 Celtic AGM is coming up next week and Hugh Keevins has a Rangers warning to the Parkhead board.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In recent Celtic AGMs<\/a>, the board have been at pains to poke fun at our rivals across the city as the Celtic board lorded it over Rangers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year however, there is far more pressure on the Parkhead executives because despite still ruling Scotland, the Celtic fans are deeply unhappy<\/a> with their running of the club.<\/p>\n

And in the run-up to this year\u2019s annual event at Celtic Park<\/a>, journalist and radio pundit Hugh Keevins has fired a pointed <\/p>\n

The Celtic Trust have already shared their AGM voting intentions<\/a> as they plan to oust all the non-executive directors to force change at the club.<\/p>\n

And Keevins has warned that if the Celtic board<\/a> do not directly address fan concern and continue with their affable jokes about Rangers, they will be in serious trouble at this year\u2019s AGM.<\/p>\n

Keevins wrote in the Sunday Mail<\/a>, \u201cCeltic are on the verge of taking what the French call an \u201cacte de foi\u201d. That\u2019s a leap of faith to you, me and Nancy.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd Desmond is taking the biggest leap of all, so perhaps he\u2019ll attend the club\u2019s AGM next Friday and explain his rationale.<\/p>\n

\u201cCeltic have approached a precarious juncture, with fans and club at odds with each other over allegations of mismanagement and a supporters\u2019 scheme to starve the club of money through non-purchase of merchandise ongoing until February.<\/p>\n

\u201cJokes about Rangers and penalty kicks won\u2019t placate disruptive attendees at the shareholders\u2019 gathering.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s time to look the paying customers in the eye and do them the courtesy of showing accountability.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hugh Keevins is not often right about Celtic, but he\u2019s bang on here<\/p>\n

Keevins is often derided by Celtic supporters as he tries too hard to criticise the club at every turn.<\/p>\n

But when it comes to his warning about the AGM, the Celtic critic is bang on the money.<\/p>\n

The board are at war with Celtic fans<\/a>. The Green Brigade ban has only further steeled the efforts of fans to demand change at the club, and the executives must address that.<\/p>\n
