While he isn\u2019t opposed to a reunion with Oscar Isaac, Boyega has one condition. However, his comments come as Isaac recently voiced his hesitation about working with Disney.<\/p>\n<p>John Boyega on potentially reuniting with Oscar Isaac on another Star Wars project<\/p>\n<p>John Boyega, who played Finn across The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker, recently opened up about what it would take for him to step back into Star Wars at the Liverpool Comic Con. For him, Finn and Poe\u2019s dynamic deserves theatrical scale.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMe and Oscar are very stubborn and we believe the bromance should only be on the big screen,\u201d Boyega said, making it clear that a streaming return isn\u2019t on his mind. He also voiced interest in bringing back Joonas Suotamo, who played Chewbacca in multiple films, if a new project moves forward. <\/p>\n<p>As he added, \u201cIt has to be a movie and obviously a great script. And I already spoke to Joonas today and said Joonas, you must join Poe and Finn on their adventure. So if I get those combinations, who knows.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Boyega sounds ready for a return, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/movies\/638297-oscar-isaac-marvel-star-wars-return-unlikely\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oscar Isaac\u2019s situation<\/a> remains more complicated. The actor recently suggested he could revisit Star Wars or Marvel in the future, but not under the current circumstances involving Disney. This came after Disney suspended Jimmy Kimmel over comments made on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah. I mean, I\u2019d be open to it, although right now I\u2019m not so open to working with Disney,\u201d Isaac said. \u201cBut if they can kinda figure it out and, you know, not succumb to fascism, that would be great.\u201d Isaac also addressed his 2020 remark about returning as Poe if he \u201cneeded another house,\u201d adding, \u201cYeah. That was a real likable quote.
