The Owls have endured a tough start to the Championship<\/a> season and have won only one of their first 15 fixtures. They are inside the drop zone along with Norwich City<\/a> and rivals Sheffield United<\/a>. <\/p>\n

On the pitch, it has been a tricky past few months for the Owls. Their squad is lacking depth and they are crying out for some reinforcements this winter. <\/p>\n

Henrik Pedersen<\/a> was picked as their head coach in the summer after Danny Rohl\u2019s exit. Prior to his appointment, he worked as part of Rohl\u2019s backroom staff team along with Chris Powell before landing the full-time position. <\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> have struggled for results though due to their threadbare options. Their bench is usually packed with youngsters and they could do with some new faces if possible over the coming weeks and months. <\/p>\n

The Owls lost 3-1 away at Southampton<\/a> last time out. Manchester United loanee Harry Amass<\/a> got their goal against the Saints down in Hampshire but they weren\u2019t able to get anything from the game anymore. <\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> saw a host of key players head of the exit door before this campaign began including Josh Windass, Anthony Musaba and Djeidi Gassama, among others, that decimated their ranks. They were able to bring in only Amass and goalkeeper Ethan Horvath in the end, whilst Joe Lumley arrived more recently on an emergency deal before heading back to Bristol City<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Pedersen\u2019s men will be lacking confidence, despite their battling performances.
