Confident Rangers striker Youssef Chermiti<\/a> has revealed he is targeting a place in Portugal’s World Cup squad next summer.<\/p>\n The former Everton<\/a> youngster has been criticised for a slow start to his Rangers<\/a> career after just one goal in 13 overall appearances<\/a>, although he’s only started six games.<\/p>\n He’s on international duty with Portugal Under 21s, who are leading Scotland’s group and play in the Czech Republic on Tuesday.<\/p>\n And he’s determined to catch the eye of Portugal boss Roberto Mart\u00ednez and win a shock place in the squad for the USA, Canada and Mexico finals.<\/p>\n Chermiti said: “My goal is to reach the senior national team and I will continue to do my work to achieve it.
