(PHOTO \/ AP)<\/p>\n<p>PARIS &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chinadailyasia.com\/hk\/article\/607212#Zelensky,-Macron-hold-phone-call-ahead-of-Trump-Putin-talks-2025-03-18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky<\/strong><\/a> on Monday signed a letter of intent under which Ukraine could purchase up to 100 Rafale fighter jets over the next decade, as well as other defense equipment, according to both leaders.<\/p>\n<p>The two leaders met in Paris.
