Since Becky Swain<\/a> (Amy Cudden<\/a>) returned from the dead in Coronation Street<\/a>, her sole focus has been to win Lisa Swain<\/a> (Vicky Myers<\/a>) back \u2013 and she\u2019s not at all deterred by the fact that Lisa is in love with Carla Connor<\/a> (Alison King<\/a>) and they\u2019re engaged to be married.\u00a0<\/p>\n Becky can be incredibly manipulative, and has tried various tactics to worm her way back into Lisa\u2019s life. At the Halloween party she played her and Lisa\u2019s wedding song to evoke sentimental emotions \u2013 and then went in for a kiss.\u00a0<\/p>\n Carla has been incredibly patient throughout all this. She knows that there\u2019s important history between Lisa and Becky <\/a>and there are bound to be strong emotions and has been giving Lisa the space she needs to work things out.\u00a0<\/p>\n But recently it\u2019s become clear to her that Becky is blatantly manipulating them<\/a>. When Becky claimed she had to move in with them because the bad people she\u2019s hiding from knew her address and were threatening her, Carla was instantly suspicious.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018While we are all very happy and rooting for Carla and Lisa, there\u2019s a history that we can\u2019t ignore,\u2019 Corrie producer Kate Brooks told us. <\/p>\n \u2018Carla and Lisa are a brilliant love story. They\u2019re a brilliant soap couple. And I think the journey we\u2019re going to go on with these two, as they navigate this woman who\u2019s been literally dropped from a great height and landed like a bomb inside their house\u2026 How do they navigate this?\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n \t\t In upcoming episodes Becky tells them someone sent her a funeral wreath with the message \u2018Rest in Peace \u2013 Again!\u2019 Becky meets with Costello (Daon Broni) and tells him about the wreath and says she\u2019s determined to get to the bottom of who sent it. <\/p>\n Then she sends a threat of her own to Costello by sending him a picture of his daughter<\/a> that Becky has secretly taken. Kit (Jacob Roberts) overhears Costello taking a call from Becky.\u00a0<\/p>\n When Costello is attacked, Kit realises that Becky might have been responsible and reports his suspicions to Lisa. Will she believe him?\u00a0<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Becky has a plan to push Carla and Lisa apart. Knowing that they have a lunch date, Becky decides to sabotage it by pretending to be drunk and upset in the street, where she knows Lisa will find her. She explains that she got drunk to block out her sadness at losing everything.<\/p>\n \t\t Lisa can\u2019t leave her in that state and takes her back to the house, where Becky goes for a shower. Just as Carla arrives to find out why Lisa didn\u2019t turn up for lunch, Becky is descending the stairs in Lisa\u2019s bathrobe.\u00a0<\/p>\n Obviously Carla is devastated by the scene and orders becky to leave the house. She looks to Lisa to back her up, but Lisa says nothing. Carla feels betrayed.\u00a0<\/p>\n Carla tells Lisa that she\u2019s had enough and is ending their relationship.
