Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to trace a woman who went missing from Stepping Hill hospital.<\/p>\n

Christie left the hospital in Stockport<\/a> at around 12.30pm on Saturday (November 15), police said.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old, who is from the Buxton area, could have then possibly caught a bus or a train to the Manchester area.<\/p>\n

Officers said there was a further sighting of her in Levenshulme<\/a> at around 1pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Buxton Police shared a picture of Christie on social media as part of an urgent appeal to track her down, and said they are ‘growing concerned’ about her welfare.<\/p>\n

The appeal was also shared by Greater Manchester Police<\/a> today (Tuesday).<\/p>\n

Christie is described as being 5ft 6ins tall with dark-blonde shortish hair and blue eyes.<\/p>\n

Police believe she may be wearing light grey jogging trousers and a black hoodie.<\/p>\n

“Anyone who has seen Christie since she went missing, or may know where she is now, is asked to contact us and please quote incident number 270 of November 17”, Buxton Police said in the appeal.<\/p>\n
