But this Christmas that\u2019s about to change, because the\u00a0road is going car free.\u00a0For one day only, on <strong>December 6<\/strong>, customers will be able to do their Crimbo shopping without the risk of being hit by a double-decker, black cab or Lime bike.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The West End is going to be transformed into a festive shopping paradise, with entertainment, refreshments and plenty of photo opportunities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The road will be closed to traffic between Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus, with festivities starting at 2pm and continuing through to 9pm. Three vintage London buses will be parked along the \u2018Festive Mile\u2019, each offering a different Christmassy experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECOMMENDED: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/things-to-do\/christmas-lights-in-london\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The best Christmas lights displays in London<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One bus will be set up entirely for taking \u2018elevated\u2019 seasonal selfies, another will be the Choose Love Disco Bus, with live music from choirs and DJs keeping the party going, and then there\u2019s festive crafts bus, which will host wreath-making workshops and a free gift-wrapping service.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There will also be roving entertainers including\u00a0stilt walkers, juggling jesters, festive butlers and Hamleys elves.\u00a0For refreshments, there will be a variety of hot booze-free tipples, including hot chocolate and non-alcoholic mulled wine up for grabs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A variety of Regent Street\u2019s shops will have special offers on on the day, including\u00a0Marc Jacobs, Ziggy Green and Neom.
