Bethenny Frankel, a friend of Meghan Markle\u2019s ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, has revealed the telling way he reacted to his former spouse\u2019s royal romance with Prince Harry.<\/p>\n The Real Housewife of New York City claimed Meg\u2019s film producer ex<\/a> knew the couple would marry from the moment they started dating.<\/p>\n Who is Meghan Markle\u2019s ex-husband?<\/p>\n Trevor Engelson is an American film producer and literary manager. He worked on the TV series Snowfall, as well as the 2010 film Remember Me, starring Robert Pattinson.<\/p>\n Meghan, 44, and Trevor, 48, first began dating in 2004. The pair worked together in 2010, as Meghan made a cameo appearance in Remember Me.<\/p>\n They then went on to tie the knot<\/a> in September 2011 in a beach wedding in Jamaica.<\/p>\n Trevor appears to have got Meghan\u2019s father\u2019s approval, with Thomas Markle previously admitting in an interview<\/a>: \u201cI really liked Trevor. I don\u2019t think he ever understood why she dumped him either.\u201d<\/p>\n However, in August 2013 the couple separated and were granted a no-fault divorce the following year, with papers reportedly citing \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d.<\/p>\n It is believed their relationship had been affected by the long distance and Meghan\u2019s hectic schedule, as the then actress moved away to Toronto to film Suits.<\/p>\n The royal biography Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, even claims that Meghan had posted her wedding and engagement rings back to Trevor in LA while in Canada.<\/p>\n Trevor also remarried the year after Meghan. He now shares two daughters<\/a> and a son with his wife, Tracey Kurland.<\/p>\n \u2018Is this your ex?\u2019<\/p>\n Bethenny Frankel also claims to have dated Trevor for a short while, around the same time rumours began circling about Harry and Meghan in 2016.<\/p>\n Appearing on on an episode of The Toast podcast, the TV personality told host Claudia Oshry about Trevor\u2019s telling reaction to his ex wife\u2019s new man.<\/p>\n Holy [bleep], your ex is going to be a princess!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n \u201cHe said his ex was a woman from a show called Suits. I didn\u2019t know what the show was. I didn\u2019t know the woman,\u201d Bethenny claimed.<\/p>\n \u201cMonths later I see pictures showing Harry\u2019s dating someone and texted him: \u2018Is this your ex?’\u201d She went on.<\/p>\n She allegedly went on to ask Trevor: \u201cDo you think she\u2019s going to close [the deal]?\u201d to which he replied, apparently with no doubt, \u201cOh, she\u2019ll close.\u201d<\/p>\n Bethenny also recalled messaging Trevor: \u201cHoly [bleep], your ex is going to be a princess!\u201d on the night before the royal wedding in 2018.<\/p>\n Meghan and Harry of course said \u201cI do\u201d in May 2018 at St George\u2019s Chapel in Windsor.
